Business owners are complaining that they are not able to register/add the business to Google My Business.
The issue they are encountering is that an error message appears: “Sorry, we are having issues at the moment. Please try again later.”, normally at the end of the process when you press the “Finish” button. Example below:
Google has been advised and this issue has been marked a trending issue.
Some Google My Business users are complaining some of their reviews are not appearing live in the Google My Business Public Profile.
So if someone leaves a business a review in Google Maps/Google Search, those reviews are delayed to appear publicly or just not publishing.
This can happen if the reviews are too long (> 1000 chars) or if they contain content that violates Google’s policy on Prohibited and Restricted Content or Google’s review-specific criteria.
One of the review-specific criteria: “Don’t solicit reviews from customers in bulk.” If you have set up a review kiosk in your place of business, all the reviews left there are likely to get filtered.

Google announced new AI-powered updates to Google My Business (GMB), including improved curbside pickup and delivery options.
Google is adding a new pop-up box in the Google My Business public profile that will display pickup and delivery tabs:
On these tabs, it will display information such as delivery providers, fees, order minimums and pickup and delivery windows. It is starting testing these new features on mobile search with Instacart and Albertsons Cos. stores in the U.S..

Many times businesses ask me how to change the Google Maps pin marker on Google My Business, as it is not in the correct place. That’s why I built this mini-guide.

Google has updated the options and flow when you flag a review through Google My Business’ dashboard.
The new form asks the business owner, “Why are you reporting this review?” Then it offers these options:
Google My Business Public Profiles are now displaying GMB Posts even if they were posted over 7 days ago (“Add Update” post type).
I can see posts as far as October 2020, and other users are reporting even posts as old as of August 2020, before you need to press the “Archive” button to see the past posts.
It looks like it’s limited by the volume of Posts.
Google reopened Google My Business phone support!
Ok, you don’t have a contact number for you to call but you will be able to request a call back through “Get a call” option on the Contact Us Form.
This feature was removed shortly after COVID hit, since then Google has been working with limited resources.
When you press “show hours”, it shows to be in operation 24 hours/7 days a week, even though the time zone used is “Los Angeles”.
